Back, neck, knee, shoulder, headaches

Painful periods, fertility, menopausal symptoms

Please connect with me if you have questions about how acupuncture will work for your specific health concerns.

How do I prepare for my treatment?

Wear loose clothing — something that is able to roll above the knee on legs and above the elbow on arms.

It’s also important to have a snack or meal within 2-3 hours of your treatment. Please do not come in with an empty stomach.

If it’s your first treatment, please print, fill out and bring your paperwork to your visit. If you do not have the ability to print, please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time.

How many treatments will I need?

The number of treatments required to resolve a condition depends upon the nature of the condition, your lifestyle and constitution.  For most conditions, a series of several treatments is required in order to achieve your goals.  Acupuncture has a cumulative effect, and many treatment plans will start off with twice weekly treatments, then tapering to once a week and finally to monthly “maintenance” treatments.  Typically, after 6 treatments we will know if acupuncture is a good fit for your condition.

How can vaginal steam therapy benefit me?

Vaginal steaming has been reported to:

  • Reduce menstrual pain and bloating

  • Regulate irregular and absent cycles

  • Increase fertility

  • Reduce ovarian cysts and fibroids

  • Increase sexual desire and lubrication

  • Relieve chronic vaginal and yeast infections

  • Reconnect you with your feminine energy

  • Release stored emotions and stress

Do you accept insurance?

Insurance companies are increasingly providing acupuncture coverage.  Upon request, we will provide you with the appropriate paperwork to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. We do accept FSA, HSA and MSA cards.
